Your artistic craftsmanship is such a joy to read. Your inspirational writings and outlook toward humanity is a vision that should be shared by everyone. I believe if the world could read your words and take a lesson from them, there would be so much less chaos. Well done sir.

This book was so emotional for me to read. I had a son in the Army who was Killed in Action almost ten years ago. You hit home on so many of your poems and I could feel the honor, pride and emotion as I read them. A couple of the poems that were really hard for me to read were 'Military Mom' and 'Folded Flag'. But I think the one poem that really made an impact for me was 'Casualty of War' I could only imagine the heartache and torment you must have felt, seeing this happen in front of you. I could definately sense the love that you feel for your wife with the poems that you wrote for her. I feel that you will make a difference in this world with the passion that you write about children and humanity. God has given you such an amazing gift and talent, and I was honored to be touched by your precious words.

I love poetry and this collection has some of my new favorites. I love the variety of poems within the book. My personal favorite is "Path of God" and "The Soldier Gives the Right". As a fellow Soldier his poems hit home for me but he has such a variety of works in the book anyone can enjoy them. Definitely worth the money!!

I got your book, reflections of life, for Christmas and I must say that its really good. As a soldier I could relate to so much of what you had written and it times I felt like I had been there with you. This is a great way for promoting family values as well and teaching your kids how to respect other human beings. I say this to everyone out there, who doesn't have a copy yet... What are you waiting for?

It's an amazing, inspiring, deeply moving book, Jon! Wow! You should be so proud of yourself ! Some of my favorites so far are: we'll all be judged, through it all, hate crimes, a soldier's night before Christmas. Poems are such a intimate form of art- you put your words, your story out there and the reader takes it and becomes a part of it. Thank you for sharing YOU with the world... It takes a very special person to open themselves up in such a manner. I think this should be required reading in schools! Like you say in your book, the children are our future and we need to show them our dreams and our sorrows...!!!
