Jon, I am so proud of you. I love Changing Moods and I really like/love you new one, Reflections of Life. I like Folded Flag, I just watched them fold the flag at my uncle's grave site. I love your poems of family, A Mothers Love, Fathers and Lullaby. Then I almost cried when I came across Stepdad, tells me my grand-daughter has some one who cares about her. And lastly I love the ones to my daughter and I love you. Your Mom -in- law Patsy

I was at a friend's house the other day and I was bored, while she was doing something with her kid. I saw your book Reflections Of Life, on the coffee table and started to read it. I must say that it really lives up to the saying "Never judge a book by its cover." I thought it was just going to be a bunch of war stories and foul language that you tried to pass off as poetry. Was I ever wrong!! Granted you did tell a few war stories, but the way you put them into poetic form was absolutely amazing. Your poems on other subjects were also brilliant and you really know how to bring out the best in people. I did notice one thing throughout the book, you rhymed the words earth and worth quite a bit. I don't know if you did that intentionally or not, but the way you used them worked well for those particular poems. I think I may have to get myself a copy of it now too, and I have a few friends in the military that I'm sure would appreciate it. Thank you for your service, and I really enjoy your work.

I was looking for a birthday gift for my grandfather who was a Vietnam veteran. A friend of mine gave me the lnk to your website, and I found your new book. I thought it was just going to be poetry about the military. I ordered a copy for him, and had to read it before sending it to him. I was blown away!! I know he'll love it, and I had to order one for myself now, the way you wrote about humanity and everything else was such an eye opener. Your poem Walk A Mile, and others will bring a tear to his eyes I'm sure. Thank you for sharing this extraordinary piece with everyone and I'm sure everyone will enjoy it.
